Dear Parents,
This year I am taking on a challenging new role at Jack MacKenzie, acting Vice Principal. While this will change my role in the senior pod, I will continue to teach Gr.7 Math and Gr. 8 Social Studies. I know from my three previous years at Jack MacKenzie that this is a particularly strong group of senior students, and I look forward to a fun and successful year.
A bit about myself: I have been teaching in the Regina Public School System since 1991. My primary focus as a teacher has been on Gr. 7 and 8, although I have experience with primary and middle years as well. I am eager to work with your children and welcome your participation in their education at Jack MacKenzie. Please contact me for any reason during office hours. Again, I look forward to a terrific year!
Yours truly,
Kelley Reoch
My name is Bree Edwards and I will be working as Mrs. Reoch’s intern this year. I currently hold a degree from the University of Regina is Psychology, but returned to pursue my degree in Education. I am following in the career footsteps of my parents, my mother is a recently retired early elementary school teacher, my father is currently the principal at Campbell Collegiate and my sister is a grade 3/4 teacher at Haultain Elementary School. I am looking forward to working with Mrs. Reoch this year and believe she is an exemplary teacher from whom I have much to learn. I believe that Jack Mackenzie School is one of the finest educational facilities in the city and will provide an ideal environment for my professional development. I am really looking forward to the experiences and opportunities that the students and I will encounter together.
My name is Brenda Gabriel and I am honored to have the opportunity to join the Jack Mackenzie School family. Our family has just moved to Regina from Tisdale, where I have taught for 23 years in a variety of schools, grade levels and subject areas. My husband works in the city. Our two sons are attending the U of R in the Faculties of Education and Engineering. At Jack MacKenzie, I will be sharing a Gr. 7/8 classroom with Mrs. Reoch , teaching ELA, Fitness and Visual Arts, as well as, half time Learning Resource Teacher. I look forward to an amazing 2011-2012 school year. I thank you, in advance, for the opportunity to share in the excitement of learning with your child.
